About the Founder
Nathaniel Johnson is the founder of Virtus Strategic Management Group. With over 17 years of leadership and operational experience, he specializes in turning broken operations into high-performance systems.
Nathaniel spent over a decade in the United States Marine Corps as an Artillery Operations Chief & Operations and Training Manager, where he directed operations for an average of 900 personnel, conducted leadership and ethics training, and implemented risk management programs that ensured compliance with strict operational standards.
After his military service, he led various levels of management roles in service and hospitality industries, including serving as General Manager of a high-volume 24/7 transportation facility with 40 employees. He restructured compensation models, negotiated high-value vendor contracts, and directed multiple operational improvement projects that delivered measurable results.
Nathaniel founded Virtus Strategic Management Group to help businesses close the gap between strategy and execution. His approach blends strategic clarity with field-tested operational insight. He focuses on rebuilding culture, refining workflows, and developing managers who lead with data and empathy.
